Paulo is co-chair of the Working Group 4 of the COST action KEYSTONE mentioned in (3). He is the head of the IS Group at the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Coimbra and the Director of Informatics and Systems Lab of Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN), a non-profit association for Innovation and Technology Transfer. Paulo holds a Ph.D. (2001) in Informatics Engineering from the University of Coimbra. He has been Adjunct Associate Teaching Professor in the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon, USA, from May 2009 to Dec 2012, and Visiting Associate at Brunel University, UK, from 2008 to 2010.

Omar Boucelma is a full Professor in Computer Science at Aix-Marseille University. His main field of research relates to the representation and management of heterogeneous distributed data sources and services, focusing on architectural issues, languages, and implementation aspects. He has worked as a researcher at CU Boulder, and more recently as an invited Professor at Unicamp (Brazil). He is currently focusing his research on web services discovery, cloud computing (provenance), and spatial data analytics.

Bogdan Cautis is a Professor of CS at the University of Paris-Sud, France. He received his Habilitation (HdR) in March 2012, from Universite Pierre et Marie Curie, his Ph.D. in September 2007 from the University of Paris XI — working in the Gemo research team of INRIA Futurs, advised by INRIA DR Serge Abiteboul and Tova Milo from Tel Aviv University, a MSc degree from Ecole Polytechnique and engineering degrees in Computer Science from the Politehnica University of Bucarest, Romania and from Ecole Polytechnique, France.

Yannis Velegrakis, University of Trento, velgias@disi.unitn.eu, disi.unitn.it/~velgias/

Yannis is a faculty member of the Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science of the University of Trento. He holds a PhD degree in Computer Science from the University of Toronto. His research areas of expertise are Large Scale Data Management and Integration. He has worked as a researcher at the AT&T Research Lab, the University of California, Santa-Cruz, the IBM Almaden Research Center, and the Center of Advanced Studies of IBM in Toronto. He has been a general chair for VLDB 2013, DESWeb 2010 & 2011, and WebDB 2012. He holds 2 US patents and has been a Marie Curie Fellow between 2006 and 2008.
